Pre-Chorus: And oh, how He loves us all, Oh how He loves us, How He loves us all
Chorus 1: Yeah, He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves. Yeah, He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves.
Verse 2: We are His portion and He is our prize, Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes, If grace is an ocean, were all sinking. | the love of the Father do you really Know what HE thinks and feels about YOU? Deeply Knowing this truth leads us to a fasted lifestyle, a longing heart for HIM.
Matthew 9:14-15 Then the disciples of John came to Jesus saying, "Why do we and the pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?" And Jesus said to them, "Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast."
* a lifestyle that embraces voluntary weakness and denial of self on a daily basis, resisting the spirit of this age and embracing love, giving, forgiveness, prayer, and fasting in order to press into the deeper realms of relationship, intimacy, and union with God. Fasting is our own benefit, and has nothing to do with twisting God's arm in anyway! Fasting has a way of tenderizing our hearts, making us more attentive to hearing God's voice, it helps bring up issues in our own hearts that we need to deal with, with God, and it really places us in a position to receive from God.
* Jesus rebuked His generation in Matthew 11:15-17 for there lack of response! In Matthew 11 Jesus is talking about a prophetic generation using John the Baptist to motivate us to wholeheartedness! John was living in a prophetic, transitional generation, just as we are! The response necessary for both Jesus' generation and ours is definately: ~ a wholeheartedness that produces anguish and lovesickness together as one church/bride: the wedding and the funeral, the mourning over our sinfulness and the joy of the bridegroom coming to marry us (Hosea 2:19-20).
* John brought the message of repentance and Jesus says, "For John came neither eating, or drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon'." They didn't respond to the message of the 'funeral'; the repentance message of mourning for your sin.
* Jesus brought the message of the bridegroom coming and He says, 'The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' They didn't respond to the message of the 'wedding'; the bridegroom message that a wedding is coming. John's wholeheartedness was meant to set his generation as well as yours on FIRE! His generation wrote him off as a fanatic and they wrote Jesus off as a compromiser. Our challenge is to see the wisdom of John now and be moved by it! Jesus is using John the Baptist as the standard for what He IS calling US to! It's a violent calling into wholeheartedness. It's disruptive to our lives, its painful, and costly. It will take an interior violence based on spiritual hunger! It's more than the blessing of being loved and forgiven that we receive when were first saved. It's desiring the 'greater works' and walking in abandonment with your first love in place.
Matthew 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. ~ sincerity with confidence is not spiritual violence! Most of us live our lives with our flesh ruling instead of our spirit man and think we are going for God's best. It is a delusion!! God's best is only in context to spiritual violence. Spiritual violence is only sought in the context of the fasted life. (not just food... how we spend our time and money, ect...) There is a spiritual dullness thats only confronted in the violence of a fasted lifestyle. :) :) :) the reaping rewards. . . the fasted lifestyle increases revelation, speeds up revelation, tenderizes our hearts toward the things of God, and causes us to fall deeply in love with the Bridegroom God. The fasted life will awaken you both to the wedding song, and the funeral dirge, the lovesickness, and the mourning over sin. Saying 'Yes to God!' Starts in our hearts, and the strength is found in our spirit man, which can only be strengthened by the fasted lifestyle, by grace from the Holy Spirit! The fasted life will prepare us for the transition that is coming to the earth!

| WAKE UP ! ! !
In the end of the age, will we have those layers;
layers of calloused flesh covering our hearts?
being people easily offended?
Does it offend you
when your being gossiped about
in your church?
Does it offend you when a car
cuts you off?
Would it offend you
when people say
you do not know God at all?
ARE YOU EASILY OFFENDED?!?
Ask HIM . . .
To wake your heart up! God awaken the deep places in my heart
that get so easily offened
and softened it with
revelations of Your love!
In the end of the age when its all said and done
we have to have hearts
that are fully fixed & gazed on HIM
soft in the fullest sense!
